RODEN WALI KO: Anya buri da kang bubusitan uling mapamusit kung tutu at balu mu ing sick sense of humour ku. Ika naman, aliwa ing sense of humour, sly iya, pero you always get my drift, always. Ngeni itang speeding ticket a ita, aba, istung istu iyang preparation and prelude to a crazy event like Viva Las Jugan. Balu mu na ku, I take life by the bull's horns and then go enjoy the ride. Speeding ticket or not, nothing made me feel younger than singing and dancing to EWF's Let's Groove Tonight in my sports car, wearing my shades with my favorite pakner Blanche in the car. The cake was the good looking copper who stopped me and Blanche's mild flirtation with him. The best part was his kind act of cutting me some slack. It is nice to know the charm can still work sometimes, even at 41!!! Hehehehehehe. Katula kung tutu. Last night, we had dinner with Mon & Nola Fernandez plus kids, Lizette, Blanche, Dan, Marissa, Aileen (Mutya) & her kids, Rosie. It was a very expensive dinner at the Bellagio (the highest profile casino in Vegas). Dr. Mon Fernandez was our gracious benefactor. It was my first time to see Nola, Mon, and Rosie in 22 years. Claire joined us, and then went without kids to two bars, drank and chatted until 3 in the morning. Claire put in a call to Kenn Ramirez (it was 4:30 pm Phil. time). Again, lots of funny incidents and stories about U.P. Our batch 80A was the most represented. Claire kept hounding me for not ending up married to one of my batchmates. In the meantime, Claire, Lizette and Rosie danced to some songs at the Kahlua Bar. We will all go to Jugan's place tonight, About 42 adults plus 15 kids-- a sold out event! More pictures >> |
